My relaxing weekend was ruined at this hotel.

Very clean and internet was good. It was walking distance to 2 malls even in the heat, it wasn't too far. The coffee was very good as well.

We wanted a hotel with a relaxing pool and air conditioning and where my Emotional Support Dog was welcome. This hotel is the only one that provided air conditioning, "pet friendly" and had a pool. We wanted a relaxing weekend taking turns swimming in the pool and in our room. They did not allow my dog in the restaurant even though I provided his certificate so we ordered room service. When it arrived, the waiter showed me a folded up receipt with total showing so I paid him and of course paid a tip. Later after looking at the room service menu, I realized I was charged too much so I looked at the receipt that I had the for thought to keep. They had already added a service fee to the bill and I had tipped on top of that. When I complained at the restaurant they did give me back the extra tip I paid but the claimed the service charge is normal for room service, (I would argue this as well because it is illegal to add the tip to the bill in Mexico), I left it at that and told them to tell people it is there and not to fold up the receipt to hide it. The day after we arrived, they drained the pool and never filled it back up so we were no longer able to enjoy the pool. In fact my husband had a 15 minute dip the first day and I never had an opportunity to use it at all. So now, instead of spending the day relaxing by the pool as planned, we were walking back and forth to the mall in the heat to occupy our time and the mall is air conditioned but not very well. Finally the cost, this hotel is very poor value for the money. Though the room was clean and comfortable the floor was in very bad shape. It was cheap laminate that was scuffed, lifting, patched and looked awful. It completely made the room look inferior. On top of that they charged over $1,000 MXN/night just for my dog. I do not know how they justify charging such a high price.

the level of staff deserves a better infrastructure.

the staff is awesome, friendly and helpful. over and above expectations.

urgent remodel required. infraestructura is deteriorating, hanging doors, damaged floors. the pool is closed, the air conditioning unit extremely noisy. pillows and curtains need to be replaced.
